Cheers Marvin. It will be wrapped up with all the good news on Kop redevelopment. A new away platform and a home one on the Kop.

The 2018 WST AGM Resolution specifically stated that any new platforms were not tied to further stadium redevelopment. The point of that was so that fans did not have to wait an undetermined length of time for new provision....

Have any other resolutions been adhered to yet?

We have been in touch with the club DLO Kerry Evans who has confirmed that construction of platform 2 is underway and that Phil Salmon is working on it "as we speak" this morning.

As much as I admire the artistic output of the late Mr Gaye, this one statement represents much that is currently causing concern as regards the club.

When the WST took control, surely they recognised that amongst the many upsides to fans ownership, one significant downside is the risk of developing a `them and us' mindset amongst the fan base, with some fans knowing what's going on and others not.

Surely they understood the need to be transparent in all their dealings and above all COMMUNICATE.

In the 21st century, the grapevine is not an effective and efficient means of communication.

It's not just about the accessible platform, of course it isn't - as we're all too aware, there are many other issues at the moment, but on this one point, if it's not happening tell us.

There may be very good reasons (I can't imagine what they are, but there may be), or perhaps they don't give a stuff about fans who need the facility (I'm not suggesting this is the case), but either way, tell us - COMMUNICATE.

If we don't like their decision, we can seek to change it. If we do like their decision, we can applaud. Either way we can hopefully understand it.

By not COMMUNICATING, misunderstanding, division and resentment flourish and the motives are debated - is it for reasons of power, aggrandisement, self-preservation, lack of people skills or simple common sense?

Whatever the reason, it's textbook bad management.

Like the vast majority on here I am massively disappointed at the way we have played and subsequent results this season.

However, the way the Club has ignored the recommendations of the DSA and followed their own highly flawed agenda is equally as disappointing.

As life expectancy increases it is inevitable that many of us with no physical problems today will rely on specialist areas and support in the future. The Club seems to ignore the fact that they will be losing loyal, paying fans as well as pissing off our current highly valued disabled fans.

The DSA has carefully thought out plans which will increase support and massively add to fan's matchday experience - this has come from years of building up experience and involvement with our fellow supporters who benefit from their care and support.

All we can hope for is the continued support from all fans for the work of the DSA.
