Which all goes to prove that not enough people want a change of strategical direction. In which case you leave well alone. It isn't the fault of the Board or the Trust that we are in a lowly position in the League. Just that the management and the players are not good enough . The cycle goes round and round at our level of football. Sometimes you are good most times you are not.

Not a single suggestion as to what happens next though.

For example, the board are voted off, the new board prove to be a disaster and revenue falls.
Full time status is protected, and the club is dead within 12 months.

We need better people at all levels, but until they are identified, we have to stick with what we have.

What you are calling for equates to shouting sack the team, with no replacements lined up to come in, it's madness.

I dont like to resort to name calling... So I wont. But i really want to make an exception in your case.

You should call a meeting to discuss it first.

Im glad you agree. Strengthening the boards with skill sets appropriate to reversing the decline for starters. I don't feel board positions should be occupied by anyone whose priority would be self preservation over the task of reversing our decline. Some of the current board members I would hope would embrace the changes needed. Any that don't need to ask themselves what are they in this for. The very fan base that saved the club deserves no less. I am glad you see it that way too.

What you've just done is abdicate the board and WST of any responsibility for performance.

Do you not wonder why we've gone through so many managers?

Any manager has a right to expect that the set up in place will be conducive to a successful implementation of the agreed strategy to achieve the desired targets. If the boards (football and WST) have a target of 5th/6th tier football then a part time set up from board level and playing side of things will suffice. If we want to reverse our decline then something needs to be in place to reflect that. We have a right to know these things I think.

Who do you think hires these managers? There is no cycle with us, we are in the lowest position we've ever been.

I wouldn't respond to him. He clearly has a motive to derail this thread as he doesn't agree with it. Very childish imo.

Pretty much, but until someone better is identified nothing will change.
