You don't have to be a fan to be a member of the WST, it's open to anyone.

This is the root cause of why we are where we are after 8 years. The small group in control fall short of the skill sets required in not only directing the football side of things but as has been shown over the DSA debacle, way short in people skills leading to appalling PR. 8 years on and many can see the results of what happens when a group of probably well minded amateur volunteers do not see that their efforts fall short of what is needed in competing in a professional world. It is human nature to make mistakes but unfortunately what should have been a competitive budget derived from the excellent support base over the last 8 years has been seen to be wasted. Why on earth would any investor come to our aid only to have to take a back seat as that investment is arrogantly wasted by more of the same mindset ? Part time mentality... part time standards. Quite sad really.

I think it would be worth the EGM proposers and the WST having a meeting to discuss what the EGM would entail. Possibly even sort some of the issues before hand. The WST could even decide following the discussion that the points do merit a meeting an call an SGM without the need for 5% of people signing up.

The WST know they can't avoid this because any discussion points here will become resolutions at the next AGM if they haven't held an EGM beforehand. It would be worth getting this out of the way rather than let it fester until the next AGM.

FYI - i have not yet signed up to an EGM but may do given what's been happening with the DSA. How its is resolved (or not resolved) over the next few days may be the final straw for me and i guess for others too.

1. I'm still here because I think 2 sides to a discussion is useful.
2. I won't be at the match tomorrow, and since I told someone recently that history means nothing, and it's now that matters, by my own definition, no I'm not a fan.

Why does anyone who is not a fan of WAFC get involved with Red Passion? Wouldn’t you be happier doing other things?
