"Wrexham AFC can confirm that the recruitment process to appoint a new first team manager is well underway and we should be able to announce a decision within the next five working days.

Brian Flynn will continue to manage the first team in the interim, including tomorrows game vs Woking.

Wrexham AFC are unable to offer any further comments at this time. "

Let's hope it's not Waddock. I've posted elsewhere that his performance last season was lacking. This from my mate who is a Shots ST holder:

"I hope for Wrexham's sake Gary Waddock does not get the job. In his time at Aldershot he constantly demanded more and more money for additional players. In his last season Gary lost the fans and distanced himself and became arrogant."

This is what the club should be doing all the time. Announcing updates and being as transparent as possible. Happy that they have let us know and thinking now that it may be someone outside of Keates and co
