Well think Dixie the clue here , he's apparently aiding in the choice of Manager , tells someone definately not Keates , then Keates made manager , and Dixie not in decision making after all . What do you think happened cardiffred .

I dont think its fair to compare the current board to Gutterman and Hamilton.

They have made decisions with good intentions that didnt come off. Hamilton and Gutterman were trying to finish us off.

Would anyone have preferred Jim Bentley?

I wonder if the decision to kick the DSA out of the club was made with 'good intentions'?

I was merely replying to your comment about them making decisions with good intentions, that's all.

Not many threads stay on topic these days, nor do I see that aspect policed by mods either, until now.

Just stop and ponder for a moment when the maggot Keates left, Davies the destroyer took his place and showed he hadn't got a clue alongside Lord Darlington. End of season he buggers off to Walsall along with Oakes the 3 Amigos that season Keates along with these 2 he gets Walsall into a position where relegation is inevitable and is rightly sacked.

So on his CV he has gets a club into a play off position and does a runner 8 games to go stabbing said club who gave him his first management opportunity in the heart. The only other thing on his CV is to get his Hometown club relegated and said club with mostly his signings are struggling in league 2

Tell me what other club would take a weasel like him back?

What really got up my nose with him in that interview was a big grin on his face and said it's in the past.

Another comment when asked about play offs we must walk before we run (a fair point) but he tried to run before he could walk when he left us.

Arr well it's over now and as the club is being run into the ground by the boards. Their is only one way a club is heading when it loses it's fans.

P.S he was coming back before Hughes was sacked when given a stupid vote of confidence l, Oakes had already been installed at the start of the season, he ain't in the same class as Jussi was...look at Dibble some goalkeeper coach.

If it was being "policed" I would have moved it onto the other thread. The point I was making is that comparing the current board to Hamilton/Gutterman isn't fair.

Even if you feel they are totally shit at it (which most do) the board want Wrexham to succeed. That is not in dispute. For me anyway.

But what is their definition of success ? It seems that as they believe only they can be in charge then success is whatever they achieve. Would they encourage a different approach from different people guiding our club if that brought us league football back ? Success has to be defined and demonstrated.
