He is a legend in his own mind. Terrible player and thinks he is a league superstar.
Well he was as good as any of them tonight - worked hard and would maybe have been MOM if he had bagged the penalty IMO :) |
Re: Harrogate Reaction
Thought we played ok until the last 25 minutes when it looked like we ran out of steam ( again) why no subs until its to late in the game?
Thought Barton, Pearson and Grant played well, though not a fan of Grant normally. JBB looks lost and to often gave away stupid free kicks Summerfield had a decent enough first half but ran out of stem second half and just kept giving the ball away. Disappointing result |
Re: Harrogate Reaction
Red Light .....
Carrington is nursing a groin injury picked up at Saturday’s game vs Woking. |

I don’t think he was mom material but terrible is also unfair. |
Re: Harrogate Reaction
Another decade of mediocrity beckons. Enjoy.

Without Grant there is no threat from us of scoring a goal - we look piss poor up front - little has changed from last season - toothless and predictable. |
Re: Harrogate Reaction
Agreed. Didn’t make a tackle, but didn’t really have one to make. His passing got us on the front foot and he prevented the opposition playing through the middle.
Very interesting that you think our defensive midifielder didn't have a tackle to make. Thats half his job. You may as well say our centre backs didn't have to head it. |
Barton was brilliant, just what we have been missing
Someone protecting the back 4! Posted via mobile theme
But he didn't protect them at all. Unless standing in front of them counts |
Barton looked good on the ball and having someone at cdm seemed to shore us up a lot, but did anyone else think he avoided having to battle for headers?
Yes. Good on the ball no doubt, but when the opposition had it he struggled, especially in the air as you note. |
