Good call Foxy - I remember the game and he was defensively very solid

In fairness to Keates, he set up the team the same way as we had done for the previous 3 games.
Pearson in for Chambers and JBB(unfortunately) for the injured Carrington.
3 at the back looked good and Barton deserved MOM. He appears to be lazy but his positioning and timing are good and he rarely wastes a ball.
Sadly apart from a bright star we were less effective as an attacking team than we were previously. The passing and movement was poor but we should still have run out easy winners.
Ref was a joke- Second worst I've seen here.
Gave them the throw that led to the goal but we were sloppy in defending the subsequent move. Where were Pearson and Jennings when the move started?
Couldn't believe Grants penalty miss, he needs to take time off from pens.
Lainton and Hooper should be fit for Saturday and / or Chesterfield.
You sure about Lainton and Hopper ? If so great news - how did you find out ?

Lowest crowd for three years. We're going to be struggling to get 3k come cold February at this rate.

Hooper was on course to return last Saturday but apparently hurt his back moving furniture. Both he and Lainton have been training and the general consensus is that if Lainton isn't going to be fit then we'd be getting a keeper in on loan.
Dibble hasn't made a match losing error for the last 2 games but that's been down to poor opposition more than anything.

i agree, think what it is is that hes one of our own and gets taken for granted, hes old enough to command a position, hasnt done much wrong atoll, looks better than bobb or chambers

We will indeed. We will still be in the bottom half come January so it’s looking like we will lose money on the gates this year. That will mean cutting back on the player budget for 20-21, a weakened position and lower gates again......and so it goes in until at some point we do fall into the league below. Still fans can.

We played 4-4-2 with a midfield diamond.

Probably straight out of the FAW manual.

Grant should not be taking penalties.
Is he our best option if he is missing them?

Seems it’s all about me, me, me.
DK needs to stamp his authority on it.

The board were warned fans wouldn't come to watch Keates' sh1tty brand of football, but appointed him anyway.

This clubs only going one way.
