I get what you're saying but if the players haven't been playing as well as they could - that's solely the accountability of the leader. Hence Keates telling them if they won't give 100% all the time they're gone.

This Keates telling the players if they don't give 100% all the time they are gone is this fact if so where has he said it?

Or in it fantasy by someone to make him sound good, or someone who claims to be in the know? Just curious not saying it's come from you.

But top managers what is said in the changing room stays in there.

As to the who applied for the job we could always of done a Walsall gone for someone doing well at a club like Barrows manager Halifax or Bromley just 3 examples
, but it appears any manager has to have a Wrexham connection.

When they were charging something daft like £3 to get in. Nothing to do with performances on the pitch. So you can't really use that as a comparative.

Possibly low due to the current league position. However, I seem to recall when we were fighting relegation before, attendances had been reasonably higher? I could be totally wrong (and no doubt other factors were involved) but Wrexham fans seem to turn out more in promotion and relegation battles, and slump away in mid table obscurity (well, in the league days certainly).

I'm only repeating what was observed at a training session. I haven't doubted it as it's the attitude he displayed the first time he was here. Hughes clearly, didn't display that backbone. As a result, players did what they wanted.

Observed at the training ground? So someone heard him say it at the training ground.. Sorry but sound like bull to me unless who said it was on the train ground, if true it must of come from a player or member of staff on the field.

To be honest it was obvious players ruled the dressing room when Barrow took over from Ricketts as he came across like Hughes as Mr nicey nicey.

One of those culprits I feel was our captain...it's amazing he as some said was back to his old self Tuesday.

Once player power takes over a manager is finished...Keates was guilty to with a few others when Wilkin was manager, he's no bloody saint.

At no point have I tried to make out Keates is a saint. I wouldn't have appointed him. That said, I think he'll add some discipline to the team. You seem to be so annoyed with his appointment that you can't see he has some good traits alongside his bad ones.

I certainly think fitness and discipline will improve now Keates is back.

It remains to be seen whether this translates successfully onto the pitch.

I liked Keates as a player.
I liked Keates as a manager. Still do.

I just think it is the lazy appointment this time and carries wrong messages IMO. I would have preferred a fresh broom.

'Positive' gossip/rumours are fine and widely accepted as fact.

'Negative' gossip/rumours are not ok, should not be spoken and are instantly dismissed as bollocks.

They are the rules JND
