The board didn't instigate this campaign. Don't worry when the current board is replaced the new board will get us into financial trouble within a few years.

Fitness, concentration, laziness, whichever it it I hope DK sorts it a number 1 priority.

IMO we have a few bad apples in the barrel and need to clear them out. Starting with Penalties.

Don’t understand what penalties has to do with bad apples ? IMO he does not miss on purpose unlike some incidents this season.

A new start should hopefully be full time training not this an hour in the morning then down total fitness. Its going to take a few matches to see this. Im loathe to say this but Keates and Davies should bring more professionalism and start identifying the basic mistakes and issues that have crept into he squad.

I don't think theres many bad apples in the but there are a couple of players who are just not good enough and need shipping out.

IMHO the damage has been done this season and a PO place is out of the question. Its a case of stabilise and start building for next season.

Not saying he did but he hasn’t got the temperament for them.
2 missed at a cost of 6 points - we cant afford that. I don’t think he is putting team first, it’s all about him which is the bad apple.

Keates needs to find his best penalty taker and give them to him. I don’t think Grant is that person.

Or conversely, the new board could bring in many new initiatives, measures, campaigns..even investment, and the club goes from strength to strength!

No one knows what will happen. Only that the current situation cannot be allowed to continue.

Imho fitness has been an issue for quite a few seasons we aren't a 90 minutes team we seem to have a good half hour to 45 mins then players are puffing like 100 a day smokers.

I think lack of a reserve side is one reason but general training isn't long enough and just telling them to go to the gym is laziness. Also we have a poor pre-season compared to The past when they ran up sand dunes and physical fitness was tops now it's a jolly to Portugal and a few pre-season games against pub sides.

As to the penalties Grant ain't the first ever player to miss 2 on the bounce, Summerfield was our penalty taker previously maybe he should take over again he was good at them...

I know you don't rate on like Grant but for me if he wasn't playing we would be bottom as he is on 6 goals under Keates that would be prolific.

Seriously when we were losing under Hughes he was the only one who looked genuinely gutted.

I could not disagree more. He wants to take them because IMO he wants to score - what the hell is wrong with that ? If he is the allocated penalty taker then he takes them.
In his career he has taken 10 penalties and missed the last 2 scoring all previous attempts so to have nominated him as penalty taker makes sense and to question his temperament does not. Personally if I were Keates I would have a chat and see how he feels about it and take it from there.
There are many reasons why we have not gained 6 points and on tuesday pathetic defending allowed the opposition to score which had nothing to do with Grant.
