Unless i'm missing something haven't the penalty misses only cost us 2 points?
Its still 2 vital points admittedly.
(Based on my poor memory he missed against Ebbsfleet but Ruthers scored and we gained the 3 points. Then he missed against Harrogate and we ended up drawing - losing 2 points)

Has he missed others?

Just been looking at the league results. It certainly looks like holding onto a lead is our problem. We have only failed to score in one league game, and been ahead in several.

So the areas to work on are clearly cutting out stupid errors (Hopefully Lainton back and Carrington instead of Bobb will help that) and put chances away at the other end (which has been a problem for a while).

You should to Phil Orifice because that's what you talk out of.

Now now you 2 let's stop the personal attacks, yes that includes you Phil at the end of the day we all want the same thing promotion and entertaining football and a club to be proud of.

We will have different opinions on it but we need to accept people are different (thank God) and have their own views, we don't have to agree but name calling gets us nowhere.... Yes I've been guilty of it myself mainly in retaliation but lifes to short to argue over a non league alleged football club. Play nice.

In terms of a points situation we need at least 2 wins and 6 points to reach the next group in the league. Given we have lost 1 and drawn 4 of our last games then it’s becoming difficult to catch up this gap.
Safety wise we really need to be into top half of this group and above mid table so were going to have to pull our finger out pretty quick to avoid being dragged into the relegation fight by the Xmas period.

DK is going to need another mix up of his squad as he did last time.

Pagl do you really think this team is one of the worst 4 in this league? Look at the table we have lost 6 it's the draws that are costing us, if half of those draws were wins Hughes would still be here.

Problem is we still simply don't score enough and have had a liability of a keeper and right back not fit for purpose.

Pagl thinks the club and squad are an embarrassment. Nailed his colours to the mast there.

We need adjustments to the squad. Some players aren't good enough. Some haven't been performing as well as they can and confidence looks low. Hughes was changing things too much in a bid to improve performances by the end. Whatever people think of his appointment I have faith Keates can improve this aspect. It's fine margins in this league, look at Woking unstoppable for the first month but are falling away now. Ditto Stockport. Whereas there are teams who have started slowly who are now climbing up the leagues. You only need to string a few wins together.

Lainton looked sharp yesterday. Him coming back will be huge. Hopefully Hooper will be back soon as well, those two will be huge additions.
