Don't see why they wont continue as a Welsh team is still in the competition - BBC Alba are also screening matches north of the border.

Now it's starting to get interesting - 2 more wins and we are in the final - the luck of the draw certainly helps.

The next round is played mid November so our away league fixture v Eastleigh will be rescheduled.

Teams remaining in the competition after completion of results this weekend are as follows :

Stenhousemuir

Elgin City

Clyde

Inverness Caledonian Thistle

Raith Rovers

Wrexham

Partick Thistle (who beat Connahs Quay Nomads 2 - 0 last night)

Solihull Moors or Rangers under 21's

Are we counted as Welsh in this competition, S4c may only have a contract to cover teams qualifying from the WPL.

Perhaps a good job all the Irish teams have gone out . Would have to dig out the passport to cross the border control somewhere on the water. As for the next round quite fancy a trip up north and Inverness or Elgin would be the preferred venue.
Tollitt was very good yesterday. If he could get to the dead ball line and pass the ball back as often as he did against the colts we would score loads. But in the National League the opposition are big and beefy and he is still too lightweight. Feed him on deep fried mars bars and haggis from now on?

Why don't you email and ask instead of asking a forum full of people who likely don't know?

Just a thought.

Hope not. Have to work Sundays so a 5.20 kick off away at Clyde or somewhere makes doing it on a train on one day a logistical nightmare.

Here is some competition reality should we get an away tie in the next round - courtesy of RAC route planner here are the mileage distances of our potential opponents. Journeys are shown as one way so unless you fall in love with a Scottish girl you will have to do it all over again just to come home.
Journey times and distances all calculated from Wrexham.

Elgin City - 423 miles journey time of 7 hours 19 minutes.

Inverness Caledonain Thistle - 407 miles.

Raith Rovers - 291 miles.

Stenhousmuir - 262 miles.

Clyde - 257 miles.

Partick Thistle - 252 miles.

Glasgow Rangers - 251 miles.

Solihull Moors - 92 miles journey time 1 hour 47 minutes.

There are some long distances there to see a game of football infront of perhaps 2 - 3,000.

Because they won't be working on a Sunday.

Just a fact.

2000 to 3000 We would have to take 1500 travelling fans to get 3000 in this competition.
