Two examples of how to run a football club:

Approach managers and don't just go for someone that applied and has to go through three stages of powerpoint presentations

Turn down approaches for managers if you are doing well and building towards something

We bid £50k for Cook, it was accepted and he wanted to come, only Mellon stopped him coming. Clear proof we have the money to compete. Not sure why we ended up signing Boden on a free instead though

£50k for Cook back then would have been good business! Mellon was obviously right in his refusal though as Cook started banging them in again...

The £50k reference was regarding the alleged offer we gave Fylde to 'tempt' Rowe here. In the same transfer window they turned down a big offer from a league side I believe!

How tragic for Challinor after all he has achieved for Fylde. There’s loyalty for ya! With the team sitting so low in the league, I wonder if Rowe is longing for a move? Somewhere with big flood lights and disfunctional board. Bring it on!
