The manager had been rightly criticised and sacked for being out of his depth, the board have been lambasted for one terrible decision after another, yet the players have had it relatively easy up to now but no more.

When the team was announced I could predict the outcome. The starting eleven were so far from a team capable of putting a decent run together I have genuinely started to worry we're heading for the trapdoor. There isn't a single spark amongst the lot of them. Not one person who can beat a full back, someone who can drop a shoulder, play a slide rule pass, feint a defender to beat him at the near post. No one can put in a decent corner, can play a give an go nor pile through a striker to put him and the ball into the stand.

We have a squad of squad players. Not one of them would be a star at any other club at our level or one below but they'd do a filler job, a 6 out of 10. These players need to sit up and realise they could go down in infamy at Wrexham. If the seemingly inevitable happens and we're dragged into a relegation battle then these players will be remembered for generations to come as the worst set of dregs to ever play in red. Their performances are totally unacceptable and I genuinely hope some of them read this and realise they need to up their game NOW.

Agree not one player maybe bar Lainton and Lawlor are good enough for a team wanting to go up.

The same players stand behind the ball at free kicks before blasting it in to the wall or missing the target by varying distances

To be fair though the team is set out terribly.

Full back gets it, plays a one-two with Summerfield, then gives it to a centre back who switches it to the other full back who loses the ball after forcing a pass and then start again

Not much the players can do tonight when the tactic was to smash it 40 yards to a winger that is playing as a target man and surrounded by 4 Chesterfield players

The tactics and management are mostly to blame

Changes to the squad is the only way out of this situation and needs to happen fast.

I think everyone is concerned that BH has used up all the budget. However CD is the 1 constant in all of this and IMO nothing will change until he is gone. Davies is a poor appointment and will make no difference but is likely to make things worse.

DK needs to get a settled 11 for the next 4 games and stop tinkering. That cost BH.

Is Lainton back - were not sure!
BB - haven’t we seen enough - I can only assume Carra is injured or completely out of favour. Pearson and Lawlor were a decent pairing last season. Chambers is a stop gap. Jennings is prob the best/only option at LB.

Barton out of his depth even at this level.
Young probably the pick of the midfield but not as holding player. Summerfield is more like a wet lettuce than a player you want in a struggle.

Up front seems were stuck with Grant when fit - somehow!
We need Hooper fit and it’s a worry he was allowed to move furniture and has made it worse. Without Hooper then perm another 2.

If we have spent the money then DK will have to ship 2 out and 1 in on the loan market.
He can start with 2 from 3 of Summerfield, Redmond and Wright.
Wasn’t it DK that signed Wright on 2 1/2 years and then didn’t play him?

Well get used to hoofball for the rest of the season with Keates. Oh and add on no target man but im sure in January we will be after Andy Cook again

I agree on all of the views. But, last nights starting eleven, given Pearson, carra and hooper are all out, who else that’s any good can we bring in - no one !

The aim with a third of the season gone has to be to get to mid table. After last nights dire performance, particularly second half, I’m worried as to where the goals and points will come from.

Jazzi BB, Chambers,Barton,Grant for starters should be loaned out if anyone will take them ... need two midfielders and forward ASAP
