I'm not sure there'd be an issue if the club had a full time coach and he just did his analysis as per what we've been told on here that Keates wants him doing.

This is how I view it. The main members of staff have to be full time. If there are people the manager thinks can add value but only a couple of days a week then it doesn't seem wise to restrict it.

To add to this, it should be left to manager to decide who is on his staff too which this also accounts for
