Mark Williams said last night paid in 2 instalments one last year one this year but whole fee will show in last years accounts as transfers needto be done that way?

I just don’t get it.

There were several home games around that time with attendances of only 900+. We just about survived then with huge debts and directors loans - which included Pryce Griffiths putting his hands deep in his pockets.

As others have said in reply to the same question about the Ward money, Liverpool are paying it in annual installments (of £200k each, I think I read somewhere) The club can't spend money it doesn't have available, and the Trust has provided money to the club each year as you would expect, but the Trust can't go into debt either.

If your suspicions are correct, in a normal business, that would be the frugal thing to do.
Football's a bit different. Without succes on the pitch, the business will eventually crash.

Admittedly, its a dilemma for the board, but they must realse, that basics come before grand schemes..

Well, the Council do seem to have finally realised, the football club is an asset to the town.
Could we afford a cheap field outside town, with services near by.. Planning Permission not possible for houses, but possibly some sort of loophole for a training ground
