Who leaked the club - DSA spat?
At the point that this tweet was released only DSA board and club officials were aware of the situation. As the tweet was critical of the DSA it would appear that it came from within the club. It appears that either someone from within the club used an anonymous Twitter account to discredit the DSA or leaked the information to someone else using that account. Most disappointingly the WST board were not willing to investigate where this leak came from when asked to from the floor. |

Re: Who leaked the club - DSA spat?
[QUOTE=Haruki;2310079]Coming from this evenings meeting after an exchange between DSA and club officials was a discussion revealing that the fallout between both parties was leaked on Twitter by anonymous account @vracecourse before either parties put out their statements not the public domain. The account also slated the DSA accusing them of dissertng their users (or words to that effect)

From what was said last night 3 people on the club side (DLO, stadium manager & 1 wst member) plus 3 members of the Dsa committee were the only ones who apparently knew. Without seeing the wording of the original tweet from an objective standpoint it could have come from either side to gain public outcry. I don’t believe it would have come directly from any if the 6 dealing with it as they sounded far to busy sorting arrangements out for both groups......however once that 1st call is made to anyone can you come in and help or can’t you the information regardless of how detailed is out there 2nd hand.....unfortunately it seems it will be likely that no one will ever know. The positive news was that despite the obvious and understandable emotion involved on both sides a meeting is planned and a way of working can hopefully be agreed. |
