Given the very poor turnout at the WST Member's meeting last night, added to the fact that it is a lot of faces that you see turning up regularly at these meetings, I believe it would be good for the WST and Club to hold a Fan's Meeting, where all fans could attend and ask questions of the owners.

There are obviously far more fans that are non WST members than those of us who are.

Let's give them a chance to be heard!

Agree , the WST is not really the fans. It’s just a proportion of those involved in a particular way. A fans meeting chaired by an independent person (eg Ian Lucas) would be a breath of fresh air. It could , if handled properly , generate new ideas, recruit new WST members, and possibly even dig up future board members. The whole WST / club board thing has gone stale and needs a shake up and this could be a first step in that direction. Perhaps it’s something the new Communications person on the Trust Board could lead on.

As Foxy said, who knows what may become of it.

On a serious note, in my industry voice of the Customer data is so valuable in decision making. We are all fans... But we are all considered customers. The board could really benefit from this too...you need to accept that some of those voices are going to be shouty and cynical, but some of them are going to provide some very valid feedback worth listening to.
