We are much better with him playing. At least he can pass to his own men, is decent in the air and is more than competent.

The problem is that people are comparing him the to Walker, but to fair Walker was a class above this league. Barton is ok, and looking better with more game time.

Chambers - I think there is a player in there somewhere, definitely an upgrade on some centre backs we have had especially Bencherif who many rated early season. He is still a good age if he can cut out those unforced errors. He looks like he has had the added luxury of playing in a back 3 previously and needs work on his game to be solid in a back 4.
