Manager wisdom.. This giving rookie managers long contracts isn't looking a very good policy is it.
Yhe Board obviously thought we could get away with it, and still be mid, to upper half of the table
Don't think they have a clue what to do, if this continues.

I tend to agree. We shouldn't have agreed to such a long lease. A lot of clubs with far more history than us have moved out of their old grounds. We need to consider this as well. Frankly the fact we play in the oldest stadium in the universe doesn't cut the mustard for me. I'd rather be playing football in League one in a tidy modern stadium with good facilities. They don't all have to be characterless.

The facilities in the tech end are an absolute disgrace. Cobwebs fill the toilets where the smell leaves me feeling nauseous, there are a number of leaks in the ceiling, most of the seats are dated and many are damaged and it still takes all of half time to get a pint unless you head down there on about 40 minutes.

I visited Gigg Lane a couple of seasons ago to take in a Bury fixture when Wrexham weren't playing and the facilities they had were lightyears ahead of ours which left me feeling a little sad. It's even more sad now when you consider that very little investment has gone into that ground since the most recent stand was built in 1999 (same year as the Mold Road stand opened) and it is likely the efforts of the stadium manager and volunteers which has kept it at an acceptable standard.

We won't have the means to move out until we're back in the football league, which is looking more unlikely as the years go by.

Don't worry, the stadium manager will sort it out.

There is a lot of work needed to bring the Tech end facilities up to a decent standard and it's not likely to be done in the season.
There is a lot of unused space under the stand which could and should be developed to make match days better for the fans.
Whatever work is done will incur a cost but it would be worth it in the long term.
The Yale ( B Concepts) stand is somewhat sated and facilities need to be improved there as well.

The framework of the seats in the Yale stand are rusted and rotten. Within a couple more seasons a large number will either need to be replaced or will need to be taken out of use.

A lot of the plastic seats themselves were changed a few years back, but mounted onto the old frames.

There is hardly anywhere in the entire ground that doesn't either need major refurbishment work now, or else will do in the not too distant future.
