Protest

If theres anyone left that will still go to the cae ras on match days and you are fed up with the board maybe some banners and protest might be in order because they are not listening their egos have made them deaf wonder how much money they ve lost on cancelled direct debits and stay away fans9

Re: Protest

I remember the way West Ham protested when we knocked them our of the FA Cup, the fans invaded to pitch at the final whistle and made their feelings known to the board. I feel this is the way we need to go, also feel like jumping on the pitch and putting the ball in the back of the net myself sometimes. This team is the worse we have ever had!

Protest"s like that in football do not work,it makes the fans look stupid, and could put off anybody wanting to invest.
The only protest in football against any boardroom is very simple, keep your money in your own pocket, that will hurt them harder and then they may wake up.

Blackpool fans did this last season, attendance's dropped massively. If enough fans stayed away game after game the board might just realise somethings up

Which, as we are a fans owned club, would reduce income and therefore the budget for players which would make the squad even weaker, with the consequence of dropping even further down the leagues.
In Blackpools case they were aiming at the owner and by not attending reduced his income and the value of the club to sell

The squad couldn't get much weaker than it is now, we are heading down to the national north. A few months playing in a near empty stadium might just wake the board up

And there is the ultimate risk (and failing) of our ownership model. Without the buffer of either investor support OR a very big reserve fund (if we had such a fund questions would be asked why it wasn’t used to ensure promotion!) then it is questionable if we can survive a downward turn.
Time for big hearts and tough decisions.

And herein is the attitude that will ultimately lead us to failure.
If done properly and through the correct channels, the board can be replaced either in our structure as it is now, or (hopefully) with outside investment under a chief executive and director of football.

The nonsense of saying "Who else is going to do it?" perpetuates the myth that they are the only ones who can do it and anyone not part of the WST are evil.
