I can't think of any. I doubt we improved Lainton, he was probably that level already. Though we did seem to improve his fitness. Until pre season.

It's not about improving players is it(we're not fooking Ajax are we?) It's about signing good players and playing them in a system to enable us to win football games, it's not rocket science. The problem we have is we can't afford to sign good players and for the last seven years we've clearly had a coach who can't, erm coach.

I think Lainton and Dibble (probably) both improved under Jussi. But he's gone now and Dibble does look like the best back up in the league any more.

I think we underestimate the contribution Jussi made whilst here, both to our keepers and the rest of the team.

Dixie, do you really think only teams like Ajax can improve players? Look at the likes of Andy Morrell or Dennis Lawrence when they left us compared to when they joined us. It would be a big help to our current situation if we had a coach who could help players to reach their full potential - the past few seasons have shown little evidence of that.

The squad we have is basically the same as last season and a lot from the previous season, some managed under Keates they will not have forgotten his betrayal of them when joining Walsall and his PE Teacher replacement who they allegedly took the P out of behind his back.

The most important person at any football club is the MANAGER so you get the best you can even if at another club and you have to pay them top dollar for the level we are at.

So how the hell did we end up giving a 3.5yr deal to a failure at a club 3 levels below and a footgolf guy?

Then when inevitably sacked because it was obvious he was a pathetic choice when given the job why do we go back to another failure in management.

How the hell did Keates get forgiven and given the job back, players won't trust or have faith in him, we should of gone out and paid for the best we could get or more simply kept Brian Flynn who was starting to improve the side football wise.

Instead we have Keates the hoofer expert back a man who's only achievement is getting his home club relegated.

Well done Harris and Co you set Dixie up as a patsy.
No new old manager bounce get rid because as well as relegating us he will bankrupt the club as the gates tumble.

Go out and get an experienced manager who knows what he is doing before it's to late.
