I suppose by your census figures the English should come before Welsh but certainly both used.

If there was a real emergency at the ground which required immediate response from fans and staff I think I know which language for announcements should be used.

Re the political flags /banners I have heard others claim that the club seems to have political leanings. Is this true? and where has it come from if true?

The second language of Wrexham is Polish, and has been for many years.

Data shows it is English first, then Welsh *big gap* then Polish and then Portuguese.

Although having a £30k a year senior councillor get that wrong in a public meeting that then becomes fact probably does not help the myth it is Polish second.

We should be doing more to attract other nationalities to the Racecourse. There are significant Polish and Portuguese populations in the town ( Portuguese being the third most spoken language), and both are football-philes. The WST should really be building links with these communities.

The languages used for our announcements is the LEAST of our problems. We need outside investment, and we need it fast. The trouble with voluntary groups (like or board) is that it doesnít change as often as it should. All fans should be encouraged to take a stint.
I remember being pushed to join a school PTA. I had a few recommenders. When it came to leaving the PTA, it was tough. No one wanted to commit, and I stayed on it longer than I should. There are some on our board who have been in the public eye too long. Itís rather pleasant up there! I find it really hard to criticise good people, who give their all for the love of our club. But after a few years, itís time to pass the baton.

That data is probably not based on actual fluent use of language . I have seen data which gives absurd values for numbers of Welsh speakers because the data is based on level 2 attainment ; we all know that an E grade pass at GCSE is a political scam to inflate the popularity of the language.

You ought not to be surprised that threads get derailed.
I would welcome "outside investment" but am unsure what most mean by it.
An annual injection of cash in exchange for a board position?
A takeover in the hope that the new owner would pump money in and not disappear at the first sign of trouble or when he realised that he'd inherited a cash drain?
If it was the latter then I'd expect the purchaser to reimburse the trust the £1million plus they've invested to ensure that we could start again if it went tits up.
