I just dont think the budget is a big as people think. I saw on one post that Redmond apparently turned down 1.6k a week a Salford to come here, and the poster questioned what we are paying him. Well it's nowhere near that amount.

Nowhere near that amount, anyone who thinks we pay similar to 1.6k will be somewhat disappointed. There’s a reason we can’t attract top strikers/midfielders, it’s the wage cap.

Cutting our cloth to suit unfortunately will never get us anywhere. The cycle will have to be broken to progress. I'm afraid in the end you have to go for it , it's ok being in the black but 11 years is to long in the conference. The reward will exceed the outlay 😉

I think this tells you / us (yet again) all we need to know about Darlington!

It’s just a shower of **** this whole setup from top to pitch is shoddy and is heading towards oblivion.

I think Hughes just signed players on agents recommendations instead of going to watch them play.

Our summer recruitment and retention by Hughes has turned out to be very poor.

There was evidence he did not do well at Scarborough, just as there is evidence that DK did poorly at Walsall.

We must hope that DK has learned something and will do better; sooner rather than later!

It does smack of the Mills recruitment strategy sadly

I was told Macintosh was scouted which is clearly rubbish, he would of been signed on YouTube clips.
