I fully support what the WST do and acknowledge the progress we have made off the field and congratulate all the people who have been involved since the Hamilton and Gutterman years.
However football is a results based business and on the pitch our success of it hasn't been replicated.
Our short term aim has always been to get back into the football league and 12 years later we are 4th from bottom in the conference. A full and comprehensive review of where we are, what improvements can be made to help us get to where we want to go, a constructive root and branch non financial audit of the club, and the structure of how we manage ourselves both on and off the field, how both boards operate and interchange and review of the skill set, what succession planning we have in place is well over-due. This must not be seen as a criticism against the football club and the fantastic volunteers who give tremendous amount of time and effort, but a way of looking at the gaps and how we can improve and take the club forward. Situations can be improved and a club with over 4000 members and with a million pound plus turnover must look to review and assess how it operates on an annual basis. As a fully paid up WST member this is very least I expect.

Totally agree.

The battle for change has become too personal on both sides. We all want to get back into the FL. Letís get it right and make it possible. The status quo is not a valid option, simply because it isnít working.

Has anyone ever wondered why the Slops were able to allegedly triple Ricketts salary? They aren't Sunderland or some fallen giant of a club.
Got a £1 million plus in compensation from Ipswich for their then manager Pual Hurst.

They did manage to keep hold of him despite Ipswich wanting him with 12 games to go and Shrewsbury chasing promotion to the Championship. He made the move in the summer having missed out on promotion, something we couldn't prevent Keates from doing apparently. Now the turncoat is back here trying to resurrect his managerial career after begging to come back.

Only at Wrexham!

We dont have over 4000 members. The wst membership is reducing if anything... I do wonder what the plan is to grow membership

Robin Redvest is bang on regards planning

WST stabalised the club , and massive thanks for that

the plan for progression on the footballing side has never been made clear

As I pointed out last week , look at the forward thinking Shrews had shown a decade a go by comparison

Strange that itís over 5 years and probably closer to 10 where I asked about growing the membership.

Has anyone put any suggestions in?
Does anyone know any of the barriers or how to improve things?
Itís something to be addressed with people so a bigger working group is needed if a restructure takes place and a strategy a plan on making it happen - is this in place?
