I think our back 5 are solid. Midfield isn't very creative but is also not very solid either. If we could bring in a holding midfielder that would change the dynamic in the middle. I'd go for a target man striker. We did go long to Grant which isn't his strength but he caused their defenders issues.

Our attacking play was always going to come from out wide and I thought Tollitt had a stinker but Rutherford did a good job and was making good direct runs at their defence.

I see no issue with how we approached the game tactically. Some geezer near me kept wanting us to play it on the floor but I think we just have to keep to the basics, the players aren't good enough or confident enough to have loads of possession.

That's as good as it's going to get at the moment.

A goal from any of these would have been good.
Fancy that, the opposition (top of the league) stopped us from playing on the ground
Let's not make out we were being given some sort of footballing master-class.

They were bobbins.

I was shocked how poor they were.

Which makes our present position all the more gut-wrenching.

Other than the result had a great day out in Wrexham. No arrogance like Yeovil, just great people appreciating each other and enjoying the day.

Our second worst performance, but an absolute banger of a goal.

We are well above our natural position, you are miles behind. Unless either of us go down I'll be back

Other than the last train home its cracking place for an away fan to go.

That’s nice. Last season we were in a false position and this season too. The 1-0 wins last season turned into single goal defeats this season. In reality we are a mid table team. Good luck for the rest of the season. I hope you go up because we are going to be non league until our ownership changes so could do with a few less south eastern long journeys.

This is true, but its also true that rode our luck at times. The ball flashed past the post on several occasions and that header at the back post in injury time that bounced across goal in slow motion nearly made me faint.
