What did Bobby Grant do to annoy the MRS?

I blame the board, they’ve let the situation fester. Fans are at boiling point, players are frustrated too, it only needs a spark like today for it all to kick off.

Also be interested to know how many on here jumping on the anti Grant bandwagon were actually at the game - I’m sure some said they wouldn’t be going again after the Keates appointment.

Here's my take on it - from the Tech End for those with an opinion but who weren't even present.

A good battling improved performance against the league leaders - second half attacking the Tech End and looking good - building up momentum and going for goal - then 'sack the board' chants started from a minority sat in the Mold end of the Hayes Travel Stand - a relatively small group who were the same ones who had verbals with Bobby Grant - after they started, a few minutes later a group in the Tech End near the away fans joined in - timing was bizzare but the goal seemed to silence it for the rest of what was left of the game.

Don't know what Bobby Grant said or did - but you can't accuse him of shirking - he ran the line superbly well and chased every lost cause all match long in a central attacking role - was in the defenders faces throughout and made a right nuisance of himself - as did Rutherford.

So in conclusion the same knuckle draggers who started the sack the board chants are the same group involved in abusing one of our own players - we would be better off without them - interestingly they were shouted down by the vast majority with chants of 'there's only one Bobby Grant' in the Hayes Travel Stand.

At the final whistle Bobby Grant was the last Wrexham player to leave the field - he came over to the lower tier of the Tech End and signed autographs with a group of kids - he got a rousing send off by the Tech enders and acknowledged the fans.

Try getting behind him and the team and if you can't and prefer to abuse them then simply stay at home - we don't need you.
