Going back to ourselves, we're very lucky that Carrington is back now as he can fill in that role. We'd be in a lot of trouble if we had to rely on Barnum-Bobb for a few games. I'd honestly consider the youth over him.
Obviously Carrington!

Surely....?

Gutted for Horsfield, looked a tidy player. Best wishes to him. No issue with Carra at RB but I still think Akil Wright could make a nails fullback.

Is it the same injury he got in the first half, which I thought was a foul. what he was carried off for. Because he done well to carry on if it was.

No it was his ankle in the first half, no way he'd have been able to carry on for so long with an ACL injury. It's a real shame for the lad because he looked solid but now Carra is fit hopefully we should be alright.

I make it that the last 10 minutes was the first time our regular back 5 had played together all season. Fingers crossed they can get a good run together now.

Been thinking this for a while.Thought for the last couple of seasons that Ruthers could do a job at RB too, great engine. I think players should be more flexible perhaps sometimes, managers too in the way they deploy them

Agreed. A lot has been said about Pearson's return giving the team more confidence but I'm sure the same could be said of Rob Lainton's return between the sticks. While Dibble conceded 25 in 16 games ( an average of just over 1.5 per game) Rob has let in only 6 in 7, with 2 clean sheets and only once conceded more than one. If we can keep up that level of performance all we need to do is find someone who can score goals on a regular basis.

Ruthers cant play full back. You need be tough and strong to defend, you dont see him outmuscling too may players, that's not his game.

You don't see Wright out muscling players either
