Default Bromley ratings

Lainton 7 - did all that was asked of him and we kept a clean sheet.

Horsefield 8 - had a very good game, no-one got passed him and he looks like a footballer which is more than you can say about some of the others. MOTM

Pearson 7 - back to the SP we know. kicked and headed everything. One brain fart but recovered well.

Lawlor 7 - him and SP looked solid together and didn't give Bromley a look in

Jennings 6 - decent but crying out for someone to play down the left that he can link up with.

Akil 4 - was anonymous

Young 8 - kept going and gets an 8 for his play and the goal.

Summerfield 6 - kept going and kept us on the front foot.

Rutherford 6 - tries hard and keeps going, Output wasn't the best but had a great effort in 2nd half

Tollitt 5 - what has happened to the player who came to us last season?

Grant - 7 for effort and leading the line which is not his natural position. Although I didn't see the incident 0 for getting involved with spectators.
Players have to be bigger than that and there will only be one outcome if he does that again.

Carrington - I'd have had him on before Horsefield got injured. He could have replaced Akil at the start of the 2nd half

Harris - one decent run and a chance but offered nothing different than Tollitt

Lainton 7 - not much to do but one fantastic save in the first half

Horsefield - 7 didn't get forward much but was comfortable
Pearson - 7 won the aerial battles
Lawlor - 7 same
Jennings - 6 average game

Young - 7 and that's only for the goal, the whole midfield was anonymous but can't really blame him for that with Keates as manager
Summerfield - 5
Akil - 2 really poor footballer

Tollitt - 1 dross
Grant 4 - barely in the game
Rutherford - 5 didn't do a lot apart from a 5 minute spell before our goal

Lainton 8- clean sheet and superb save 1st half.
Horsfield 7- solid did everything a RB should do. Looks like we've seen the last of him re injury.
Jennings 6- agree he needs support on LHS
Pearson 8- standard SP and we looked more solid.
Lawlor 7- played well alongside SP.
Young 8- one hell of a goal!. Got about the pitch well.
Summerfield 6- standard LS.
Wright-4 enough said.
Tollit- 3 agree the old Toillits gone MIA!
Rutherford -7 I do like like him for his effort and energy but its usually with no end product. Today however he very nearly got a goal 1st half and his cushion header fir Youngs volley was perfect.
Grant-6 thought he battled well on his own in an unaccustomed role. Agree he shouldn't be give the fans loads, he should be bigger than that.

Subs,
Carrington 6 usual self.
Harris- 4 gone way off the boil from player he was at start of the season.

Interesting how peoples views differ so much. I think it's hard to ignore our own prejudices and if were down on some players we'll never change our views regardless.

I'd go with this. Ruthers had a great 2nd half, great assist and nearly scored a peach too.
The knockers will mark him down as per though.
Jennings picked his performance up once the MRS bollocked him for not running with the ball.
Wright, Tollitt and Somerfield dire
