Nice idea but not a practical solution.
Doesn't work like that as far as I'm aware, Colwyn Bay - did - and Merthyr manage without the faff.

Why would you loan players to a parent club when they only need to register them for the competition? He'd still only be playing for one club just in a different competition.

I'll add Merthyr get a fee for players who sign for Swansea City, it's one of two pathways, either to Swansea or through to Merthyrs first team.

Is QR getting mixed up, besides not loaning you're own players we require int. clearance for players signed from non Welsh clubs, it doesn't matter what nationality the player is but whether his club is registered with a different FA than the FAW.

Good point. I have got it wrong. Thanks for putting it straight.

I dont want the main team to play in Wales but Colwyn and Merthyr should

The youth team would be called CPD Wrecsam to bypass compo laws so may require registration and this method could lead to a reserve team in the Welsh system and conflict of interest laws wont apply as they would be a “foreign” club

We don't even need to do this depending on where we focus our recruitment.

We could also do like Merthyr have with Swansea, become an official feeder club to a big North West club and earn some money.

Easier to do nothing.
