Come on Wrecks, one of your user names must be able to tell us if convicted criminals should be considered for positions within the club.

It is an interesting point, as forgiving and conciliatory towards the Vaughans means being forgiving and conciliatory to two convicted criminals - Senior and Jr.

It seems an entirely contradictory point of view to then take a firm line elsewhere?

Get a life. You are living in the past.

As a value , remember the past but don't be shackled to it.

I missed the firm line, where's that.

As for the vaughans, do you want them banned, and if so what for?

As a value, which was the discussion, I think people with a relevant criminal conviction should face considerable scrutiny before being appointed to a position of responsibility anywhere within the club.

I dont think we as a club should be playing old Bangor, or have any association with them.

I have written it on here before, as a club that we are there was a great chance to bin off old Bangor and even help out the new Bangor.

I agree.

I also would like a similar line for those playing as well, thinking back to the pictures and accounts of Speights attack, or even the Channel 4 footage of James Gray as examples.

As for those being appointed, you could extend it to elected as well, however how would that come out when there is a no negative campaigning rule in place?

Things also need to be kept legal as spent convictions are a thing, and the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rehabi...er_English_law

Mostly agree, the Bangor thing is a thought, but it opens a can of worms, I don't like the Glazers, but would we consider not playing Man U in a friendly.

The spent convictions is right, and applies to the players too.

Not so sure if the spent convictions get forgotten for money related for accountancy positions etc

And another one.

You weren't mouthing off about it when he'd 'sit and be a good boy'.

How about the one caught up in apparently defamation and someone outgoing who failed to investigate, hence potentially aiding and abetting?
