Playing teams from lower divisions. We were playing a League 1 side which normally would have attracted a decent crowd so I agree it is worrying. Anyway I enjoyed today and hopefully we have turned a corner now and are on the up.

But both those teams were facing non-league opposition rather than a relatively local L1 team.

I didn’t go but my son kept me up to date with messages. Initially, I could’nt go due to a prior engagement. As it happens, I could have moved it, but when told with four days to go that I couldn’t have my seat in the Yale, I said “bugger it”. Bits of the Yale Centre Stand created a buffer zone. We were playing good old Rochdale, not Leeds, Millwall or Cardiff !
My interest in the Club is waning, compared to previous seasons. That’s a sad statement to make, but I’ve said it now. I am supposed to be a part owner, but in reality I have absolutely no influence. Looking at today’s attendance, I may not be alone with my views.

They also cordoned off 700 seats in the tech end, the steward told me it was to ‘stop the fighting’ fighting with who? They going to fly, they didn’t do it against Stockport so why against 500 old blokes and women from Rochdale
