Agree with a lot of what you say but a pretty long sentence.

Catch 22. It’s a members club, that’s what it had to be to save itself. I understand different ideologies existing but it’s unavoidable that you can’t and won’t get change without engaging with the membership and its processes - and this is a good thing as the club is massively vulnerable without those processes. Expecting change to just happen without sparking it into life is just a non-starter.

It is also possible that many of those who are dissatisfied are not WST members and so are ineligible to vote for an EGM.
The crowd drop only emphasises to me that for all the chat around various issues, this move exists because people are pouting about football results. If there’s an upturn and people still don’t come back then there’s something to chew on there. Until we see that I don’t think we can put attendances down to anything else.

Yeah, it’s genuinely hard to tell here. On the one hand it’s a massive drop-off compared to previous seasons, on the other it’s been a horrendous few months results-wise compared to previous seasons, so that could explain it just as much as dissatisfaction with the board.

Not anonymous anymore thanks to Quay red outing them on here.

Oh and the subsequent abuse that they received on twitter etc as a result. Stand proud Quay red, that's all on your head.

with all due respect, if we did have to be a member/club to save Wrexham, did we have to evolve into "The Society", most people i know do not give a damn about commitees, voting and societies, they just want football, none of the bollocks that now comes with the club in its current form, and i reiterate i did not donate money to Wrexham FC at times of crisis for it to evolve into what it has and i can safely say the majority of people i have talked to on the subject agree that the club has become too politicised with too many rules and regulations, the ordinary football fan just wants football, we just want to see our club back in the league and it sickens me to see where the club is just simply so that a minority can jack off with their ideologies.
When this project fails due to those ideologies where will those individuals be, those at the top will blame some event or someone else and those who support the current regime will just drift away, no one will take blame it will always be someone else but it will never be the real cause, and untill our Berlin wall comes down expect mediocracy or worse, the signs have been here for years

Excellent posts it's exactly how I feel the club has been taken over by what's becoming more of an US & THEM Power always corrupts in the end.

WST membership is not worth anything other than a reduction in a season ticket....it's just a little click for those who get their rocks off on thinking it's their club.

This is my first comment on this thread and even if the numbers were reached a meeting would not change anything....

Only time things might change is when we eventually get relegated could be this season might be next who knows, but it's more likely than promotion now the sell on fees have been wasted by the fools on the Hill and crowds are dwindling.

You keep hearing this but if this view is a widespread one it’s so easy to be able to use to process to turn that round, seeing as hardly anyone votes and it’s apparently all about the decisions of a few people. Any groundswell of opinion against this could be turned to votes if anyone has the gumption to sell that. But I don’t think anyone does. “All we care about is football” is a bit of a cop out - someone somewhere has to care about more than that or you can’t have any kind of infrastructure. I can’t look past the fact that we’re all sitting back and waiting for someone else to do something, even people we fundamentally disagree with. That’s not going to cut it. So there can be something salvaged from this pitiful attempt at change; the next people who want it have got to reach out and do better and turn these, let’s face it, pointless conversations into something more concrete. If that’s what people want of course; the flip side is that a lot of people really only do care about football, unlike the people who say they do while also saying they want change.

This is really hard to disagree with.
