Not a bad idea. At least that's constructive and could be put as a resolution.

i mean no disrespect quay red, please believe me, but all the people i talk to about this matter in work, in the pub and just about anywhere are tired with the trust run model, voting etc, and for things to bev put as a resolution means a continuation of the current situation, people want a major change away from all this political protocol, they just want to have their football club back to some form of normality

Rarely take anything to heart so am generally unfazed with comments.
The biggest problem is the lack of positive results and to a degree limited finances. We can only spend what we earn and that has to pay all the bills and provide a team. I do agree that the system is slow and restrictive.
Reading between the lines, what your friends want is someone to spend enough money to guarantee success.
The one thing I've seen in football is there is no normality, the game is debt ridden and the situations that befell Bury and Bolton will be repeated more often in the next ten years.
I am confused over your words "political protocol". not sure what you mean.

A new owner would have to provide in the region of £500k a year to boost the clubs finances. I would suggest that half of that would go on additional staff, CEO, Director of football, IT and communications and additional ground improvements to keep up with the H & S requirements and also replace the WST supplement. I don't see many queuing up to take the challenge on board.

Am I satisfied with the current situation. Most definitely not.
The membership can make changes through the current rules which govern the Trust and club.

You must have access to the current financial situation and if what you are saying is correct we are in Sh--te.

You keep saying nobody is queuing, and there cannot be an alternative to fan ownership no offence but it seems to me your happy with being fan owned.

Would you vote for the club to be put up for sale if the following criteria were met,

1. The club is put up for sale with all interested parties to have made contact by a set date ie 2-3 months latest.

2. The wst could actually in the interest and future of wrexham football club could find the right buyer too take us forward selling the club at a nominal fee ie £1 IF we could retain a stake and fan representation on the board.

Personally that is the way forward and it’s what has been needed for some time.

See if this helps:

1. The Trust owns the Club

2. The club can't be sold without the consent of the Trust

3. The members of the Trust would have to make the decision to allow it to be sold.

4. In order for that to happen, there would need to be an EGM where a motion was tabled for the Trust to sell the club

5. If that motion was supported by sufficient members, a sale could go ahead, irrespective of the Board members' opinions if they were opposing it

6. If there was a mandate from the members to sell it, there would have to be a willing buyer.

7. That buyer would have to conform to the Trust's rules as well as being "Fit and Proper."

8. The buyer would have to pay the Trust £5,000 to contribute towards the Trust's costs of performing "Due Diligence" on the buyer. There would be a Non-Disclosure Agreement in place to avoid disclosure of some things to the public arena.

9. If the buyer broke the NDS rules, then (and only then) would the buyer have to pay the £50,000 penalty for doing so.

10. There is ONLY a £5,000 payment due from any party who wishes to acquire the club, and that sum is a trifle compared to the cost of running a club.

11. ANYONE who says they can't afford that £5,000 is not worthy of being considered as a future club owner.

12. ANYONE who refuses to take their interest forward is not someone to which ANY fans of the club should entrust OUR heritage, whatever the price.

Even if we did I'm afraid by the time we'd been through all that process given how long it would take we'll have probably already been relegated.
