That is a simple fact.

And it has been ignored.
If the platform is initially meant for away support and is located close to their fans, there is a degree of inclusion in the location. I don't believe it is entirely satisfactory and is a cheap option. FWIW I don't believe home fans would want to use it.
I believe the best way forward would be to provide a definite proposal for a further platform, under cover for additional home support with lift access and put that proposal to the next AGM of the club in the new year.

They'd ignore that as well. What a load of utter drivel.

More evidence of a rogue board.

I believe the best way forward would be for the club to do what it's owners instructed it to do almost 18 months ago.

There will always be some desperately trying to defend the indefensible and their mates.
The clique who control the club come first, their positions as well must be kept at all costs, anything else can go to hell, even the club suffering is accepted these days by the minority. Shameful.

It seems like every week more examples of bad stewardship are coming out. I will admit I am getting to the point where I think 'why bother anymore?'

The attendance on Tuesday should have been a wake up call. Thousands of fans have walked away, every stand had huge sections of empty seats and the announced attendance is of course counting every ST holder even though rows and rows of reserved seat in the MRS were empty.

Still at least we're not Bury eh, the gospel according to Pete must be obeyed.

I reckon given that the DSA had to put a rota in place to use the first platform then our disabled supporters would welcome the additional opportunities to watch games particularly through the worst weather months from an elevated position under cover. I suspect given away attendances for the majority of games that there would probably be space available to use this for home fans.

Surely the way forward is for the board to respect the vote of its members? They have pissed all over rhe democracy because it doesnt suit them.

Literally probably the best press to come out of the club in the last 7 or 8 years, the plaudits for a job well done by the DSA fully deserved (and creidit taken by spencer) and the board have totally sullied this with their antics.

Irresponsible use of power. Reprehensible treatment of fans. Divisive they stand.

Had the dreaded e mail to say that we are no longer pushing for an EGM as we have not reached the magic numbers. Pretty gutted really. Saddened by the apathy of my fellow fans.

I understand that the platform has been under construction but Building Control have asked for adjustments / alterations.
This platform will be in place eventually but I don't think it really achieves a long term solution.
There is now further separation in the Tech end stand to ensure that fans don't throw stuff at each other. I'm not sure that if I was a disabled person that I would want to sit in the middle of opposing fans.
