That’s a very valid point, I think it’s very unlikely that good players become available in January, as the window only affects us in non league, and if there are any would they want to join a team bottom of the league.

Other end of the spectrum I know, but Liverpool signed Van Dijk because they paid over the odds for him at the time.

If Wrexham spend some money; they’ll get good players.

Liverpool payed over the odds because they got caught tapping him up, player wanted out too as Liverpool were a step up. We currently aren't attractive at all, we could be part time within a couple of seasons.

Players aren't the problem tho. Yes, this lot have downed tools and will probably need shifting to avoid relegation, but even if we get a completely new 11 we'll still be playing the same garbage football that has gotten us into this mess. Our version of 433 doesn't work. Balls bypass the midfield, wingers are left out the game and the striker is too isolated. Sign a Cook or a Rowe type player and this doesn't change. It's why strikers go on to bang for fun after they've left us.

I don't think any fans should put more money into the club as it has all been squandered by our inept board.They should put their hands in their own pockets to bail us out.What decent player would want to sign for us anyway?
