It won't force change.

What might and it's a only a suggestion is to put forward a resolution (or resolutions) at the next AGM of the football club. (New year)
This meeting is called by the club and a resolution, as far as I'm aware, would only require a proposer and seconder to be considered. That's if it's allowed at the club AGM.

Resolutions are not allowed at the club AGM, only the WST AGM.

The only way to force change was the EGM and that didn't get the support it needed so you are now stuck with the current regime.

This is utterly pointless.
It might, if it's signed enough and shared get some media attention on a national level.

They don't like negativity even if constructive. I agree with your point on the EGM.

If anyone did put forward any resolutions at either meeting, is there a way to make sure that any which are passed actually get acted on within a reasonable space of time? The second platform stuff hasn’t really helped people’s faith in using resolutions, as far as I can see.

Over 200 signed already.

It's clearly easier to gain support for an `all fans' petition than one which is limited to WST members only.

Whilst it has no intrinsic power to initiate change it will prove another gauge of feeling (perhaps more useful in that respect than the WST only petition), and given sufficient numbers it may, as others have suggested, focus attention on the current situation and need to re-evaluate.

well, phils an alki, i understand your position, i just think that anything absolutely anything that will highlight the inadequacies of the current regime, is worth doing, i do not really want to embarrass anyone its just i think us fans have been stitched up by the powers that be in that we can not remove them, so given that image is so obviously important to at least some of the governing body, that national coverage of the dissatisfaction of the bulk of the fans may just bring it home to the mighty powers that be that the fans have had enough of the bulldust in all its forms, and this petition coupled with lowering attendances may just bring it home to them that the honourable thing to do is at least to be proactive in the search for outside help, maybe it wont work but it certainly made me feel happier signing it
