On the one hand I agree with your last paragraph. However it seems clear they’re not stepping aside. Where is there to go from here?

No idea. In theory there should be a mechanism in the constitution of the WST surely? Vote of no confidence? I'm guessing that was what the EGM was about.

Selling to the wrong person would be disastrous? Do you not think our position is disastrous now!

It was. However, that failed, and we seem to have hit the stage where so many people are either completely apathetic or too disillusioned too join/rejoin the Trust that getting 5% of the membership to vote is unrealistic. So, as far as I can see, we’re screwed.

I wouldn't trust anyone to use the money wisely, need to ring in the changes to board and management first.
