The hardline WST muppets have put the WST before the actual football club, and nearly killed it. It’s like buying a racehorse and not being able to feed it, train it then it begins to lose every race, and then somhehow have the front to tell everyone they’re doing a good job.

We may ultimately have a different view on club ownership but a new board and owner cannot happen overnight. Legals, compliance, finance etc. Could easily take 6 months by which time we’re relegated.

We need results on the pitch now. This isnt easy, I think we both agree, but we need a short term plan for the transfer window.
We need a competent management team.

However at present we have no way of achieving this.

True to an extent. But one person can walk now because he isn’t needed for the rest of the season. Jones has failed miserably to hold the club board to account and provide leadership of the WST .

I always thought Pete Jones was a saint - same level as Geraint Parry. If we cannot get out of this mire his name will forever be tainted by the collective failure from top to bottom.....

We should not have let Keates or Ricketts go when opportunities came sniffing, board smelt the cash and set fire to it... the rot had set in with the slump that followed Barrow's appointment and I don't think Juergen Klopp or Pep can sort things out....

New investment - 100% - the WST has failed.

My view on ownership has been pro-100% ownership since back in the days when Simon Johnson and others were touting Nev and Geoff as saviours, just for accuracy’s sake. Unfortunately I don’t think the current board are remotely capable of running the club OR of admitting this and I can’t see a scenario in which their incompetence doesn’t take us down.

Replacing Spencer Harris and John Mills, for example, with the people currently shadowing them surely couldn’t take 6 months?! And just maybe a fresh couple of minds on the board might give us some ideas about how to move forward.

I agree with this. My concern is if a 6 fig sum was wasted a few months ago what new checks are in place to stop it again? We could be relegated, with less of a cash buffer than ever before. Some reassurance on what has changed would be good, explicit rather than it just being Keates now.

As for the poll, owners appear happy with the current set up, reflected to me in the EGM not flying. It is a democratic set up, so the poll is moot.

Harris and Mills should resign and be replaced by some new directors.

The WST needs to co-opt some competent businessmen to get us out of this crisis.

Pete Jones should resign as WST Chairman.

We need some immediate action, not an elongated committee process, wherein no one accepts responsibility or is willing to put the club's survival before their own ego.
