We may ultimately have a different view on club ownership but a new board and owner cannot happen overnight. Legals, compliance, finance etc. Could easily take 6 months by which time we’re relegated.

We need results on the pitch now. This isnt easy, I think we both agree, but we need a short term plan for the transfer window.
Ain't no way we are staying up even if Jesus Christ was appointed manager.

We need at least 8 wins, plus loads of draws. Ain't gonna happen.

You don’t ever state what you believe the answer to be. You just troll everyone, put words in peoples mouths, spread falsehood and only criticise.

What is the answer? Can i critique one of your ideas for a change? What should we do now to avoid relegation?

Desperate post, you and your pals who are ruining this club are cracking up.

The answer? Accountability, humility, apologies etc. Getting rid of acceptance of failure. Oust the jobs for the boys clique mentality. Get rid of the secret board member, dof, coach Pep Darlington. I've said it that many times I've be moaned at for repeating myself.

Its so called fans like you that are now the main problem. Brain washed deluded and ignorant. Killing this club by supporting and defending abject failure.

By the way..I also replied to you earlier in the thread detailing why your idea of giving Keates 250k to spend was plain stupid, funny you didn't respond to that.

The club killers are desperate now because they realise the game is up.

Andy, want to critique this idea? The top 3 are the key things when it comes to avoiding relegation.

1. John Mills and Spencer Harris should step aside and be replaced by whoever's shadowing them from the WST board. The perceived arrogance of both has left a bad taste in too many fans' mouths for them to continue.

2. The board should accept their limitations when it comes to the football side of things and appoint a Director of Football. This would, for me, be likely to be a better use of £250,000 than giving it to Keates for the January transfer window.

3. Speaking of Keates, once we have a DoF in place, which we should aim to do within the next few weeks, Keates and Davies and Darlington should be paid off. The DoF should be given a budget, and free rein within that budget, to try and recruit a manager who can turn things around. A reasonable amount of money should be made available for signings if possible.

4. Communication from the club should improve massively. No signing players to new contracts a la Manny Smith and holding the 'good news' for when its needed - just straightforward announcements as and when things happen. This would win some trust back and may go a little way towards convincing dubious fans to return (although obviously better football and/or results is going to do more there!)

5. Bridges should be built with the DSA (not sure this will help us fight off relegation, admittedly, it's just the decent thing to do!)

6. The person leaking stuff from inside the club should be identified and asked to step down, as their behaviour is toxic and would jeopardise things if the membership DID ever vote to sell. (Who would agree to an NDA given how frequently things leak at the moment?!)

7. Board members should agree not to moderate official or unofficial fans' forums as doing so and then banning a journalist for criticism is a terrible look.

8. The board should review their SMART goals and make them actually SMART in the hope that we see an improvement ready for next year.

Also, this may be less popular with you, but I would suggest that the board should call their OWN EGM, or put forward a motion for the AGM - along with a new commitment that any motions passed will be put into practice ASAP - to see whether members want them to look for outside investment or not. Otherwise the issue will run on, and on, and on.
