If he isn't and is just being left out then this is another crazy decision.
He's not Ibrahimovic but he's far better suited to playing the striker role than Grant because, er, he's a striker. He's never played that badly and is yet another victim of this club killing a striker.
God knows...

Hooper, McKintosh & Oswell. None of them were even on the bench Saturday

You have to think for Oswell and McKintosh they will be gone in January.

Both Oswell and Macintosh visited the 1864 not sure if it was the last match or the one before. Both said they were training hard to try and push to get in the team.So I don't get why he persists with Grant up top. Oswell as we know is not a great option but at least it's his true position, just baffling??

So Oswell isn't injured and Keates just doesn't fancy him. He's already lost the plot hasn't he..

The protests aim should be to ramp up enough pressure on the board to sack Keates or so that he resigns. The board can be dealt with in the summer and their next task should be finding Keates replacement, spending some money on a good manager who can bring in their own coach , assistant etc. Darlington can go and rip some other club off for his pathetic one day a week contribution.

Wishing thinking, I know.

I can fully understand bombing Mcintosh, he's just out of his depth in this league and simply isn't good enough. ]
But not Oswell, it just doesn't make any sense. Even if you don't particularly rate or like him he's still a far better option than playing Grant there.

Keates is a fraud of a manager and he needs to go.
He's made us worse overall and we've stopped scoring.
The theory that he'd sure up the defence has died a death.
He's resorting to playing players out of position in a key role in the team, i.e. striker position.
He's as good as thrown our best striker under the bus instead of doing what a good manager would do and get him onside. Do what it takes.
He's kept Pep Darlington on and I'd love to hear any rationale for keeping the biggest fraud in football at this club after years of utter failure and mismanagement of players.

Well, if he isn't injured he needs to be starting. The only remaining 'true' striker we have, who might just be able to hold the ball up, or get on the end of crosses into the box, and he is nowhere to be seen.

If he is injured, fair enough but I had not heard he was.

Given that we are struggling to fill the centre forward position should we give a thought to playing one of the three centrebacks we have in this position. Bobby Grant does not have any impact and does not even make it difficult for the opposition centrebacks they just stroll around and take him out of the game.In fairness to the player we all know he is being played out of position. I am convinced that the likes of Pearson could cause the opposition a few problems and would be a handful to mark and would be able to hold up play, at least it would give us a fighting chance given the current situation. The back four could then be Carrington Kennedy Lawlor Jennings. Any thoughts?
