To be precise we have GBP 1,031,274 since at least the 1st of June, how much remains I don't know.

Anyone any ideas on who the mystery benefactor is? Been saving this up for a very long while.
Last WST meeting it was made clear that we had now received the full amount from Liverpool.
Initially it was thought that it was being paid in stages relative to the length of Wards contract.

There is something rotten at the heart of the club.

How can they not know?

My understanding is such clauses must be payed immediately just in case the other clubs involved got bust before payment is recieved. I'm sure it's a FIFA rule.

Amazing it's all suddenly been payed when in the mire, it was all payed up front in the first place.

Once more evidence that the boards have been covering up the truths.

Just checked the rules, from what I can make out the full fee must be payed to a Premier League holding account. That fee is either payed in full or instalments on the dates agreed when Ward moved to Liverpool by the Premier League. This is to ensure the club due the sell on does recieve the monies. If being payed in installments (Usaully over the length of the new players contract), Liverpool could should they wish instruct the Premier League to accelerate the payments. They'll also be responsible for VAT.

Also, Liverpool MUST give us a full payment plan detailing the fee due and when it will be payed, this also includes a new plan if they decide to accelerate the payment. If this isn't adhered to they'd be in breach of Premier League rules and facing a fine and/or transfer ban.

So on the whole we SHOULD know when payment will be made at minimum.

Quay Red - any idea why we didn’t know this? Who should have been responsible for understanding when money was due? It seems shambolic to not know!

I don’t know why he is useless. Maybe his upbringing.
