Of course the other flaw in the plan is that if they wait until January you may be too far away from safety for any signings to make a difference.

I think at this stage any course of action is a gamble. My biggest fear is that they do nothing, hoping for the best... Followed by my second biggest fear that the gamble works and this board get another season in which to flip all of us once again...

The board can't do right for doing wrong on this forum. They have issued a statement stating they need to bring players in but can't do a full signing until the January window. Lets at least give them and Keats a chance with that because putting our heads in the soil and shouting is not going to get us out of this mess. They are seeing the same problems that we can see so lets pray that they can do something about it before it's to late.

At least the discontent has finally registered, but the very thought of Keates being handed the chequebook is alarming.
If there’s money available, spend it NOW on a taxi for Keates, Dario and Davies.
Get a proper manager in, with his own assistant, and I’m sure he’d kick our current crop of losers into enough shape, with a couple of key additions, to keep us up.

Have you even considered who will be spending said money and their record of doing this (its abysmal by the way)?

Keates should be getting a lot more out of this squad as it is never mind throwing more money at it. Most of this team got us to a play off last season don't forget.
