It may have been offered, he may have said no... But surely you have the right to step in and impose assistance on a failing subordinate.
You don't get scapegoats by doing the right things, that's all they want. If that fails, spread absolute rubbish about someones private life.

I think there is a fine line between wanting change and becoming embittered....i want a change of board, but i cant see it happening so how do the board learn from mistakes like these

They aren't learning, the things Hughes did are similar to Mills, oh and Keates.

Still they treat us with contempt, a full independent investigation from last January onwards would be a start.

Nothing will change until Spencer, Mills and the whole board are removed along with Keates, Davies and probably the worst thing to happen to the club in years, Darlo.
Being bottom of the National League doesn't seem to have registered with them..
Still they come across as It's not our fault cause we really are good at running this club.

They really do take the pi## out of our intelligence..

Instead of making claims left right and centre let's look at facts.
Brian Hughes got the club to the play offs, lost 1 0 from a worldy outside the box. He could not have hit that any better....
With the above in mind, why wouldn't a board back that Manager for forth coming season? His reasons for what he did with regards to scouting is a decision he made and for me what he felt where the right reasons. He backed himself, nothing wrong with that. I have the utmost respect for Brian and the decisions he made irrespective of the outcome.

My views are my own and like all are subjective but born out of facts as I have seen them.

You can’t even spell his name correctly?

The 'eliminator' was a garbage game, and the run up saw some poor games too.

The club did back him, and more by 20% it appears.

The club have effectively said he has wasted that cash and now more needs to be spent to attempt to fix it.

I can't respect the decisions made by him as manager based off all that.
