This is probably true, Hooper was getting into what looked like a brand new land rover when I went to collect my fylde tickets, he's not on 50 quid a week is he?

Thing is, I know its dire an nothing they can say at this point to change it (people saying actions speak louder than words are spot on) but I cant believe the situation we are in, and am desperately looking for ANY sort of hope to cling to. For me, regardless of the whys an what fors, which we can address at the other side of this, we need to get ourselves out of this mess by changes on the playing side. They have acknowledged that in the statement thats all I'm interested in currently. SOMETHING to try and get points on the board.
Bux, does the thought of giving money Keates to spend REALLY give you any hope?!

I dunno mate but what is the alternative. They aint gonna get rid of him this early so this is the next best thing. If the budget gets us a striker an a midfielder it could change things slowly but surely

It would be interesting to see how this budget plus another 20% has been spent. Some sort of breakdown if you like which would show how much was squandered on appointing and sacking managers and assistants. It hasnt gone on improving the playing squad like it should of done thats for sure.

Alternative would be for the people responsible for appointing him when virtually EVERYONE realised it was a ridiculous idea to resign, be replaced by the fresh blood which is supposedly shadowing the current board, and then sack the trio of Keates/Davies/Darlington and replace them with a competent management team. I have zero faith in the majority of the current club board OR management team to steer us out of this mess. I mean, less than 2 weeks ago one board member was saying how jealous he was of future Wrexham fans who’d see us be more successful in the football league than we ever have been before - does this seem like someone with a firm enough grasp of realism to be making decisions?!

I read it as literally 20% more on players so imagine what we are paying the likes of Hooper Redmond Barton and Grant

I’ve heard what we’re paying Grant and Redmond and it’s a sickening waste of money.

I don’t understand the reluctance for change from the board

It’s beyond tipping point now. If by some miracle we survive relegation the angry voices will still be there, the need for change will still be there
