threads get locked off in the wrexham fc sub forum on match days as the match sometimes supersedes any previous discussions on the board and it is always a fresh start where everyone is more optimistic :)

Also with so many threads open and a lot of people on the board it really struggles to run properly.

Most threads get locked at the start of a game and, in general, don’t get unlocked. This has been done for ages, nothing to do with the board!

To be honest the threads become unwieldy and normally taken over by the usual suspects - never understood why there seems to be an obsession on here with people starting new threads as loads of OP's get "jumped on" if there is a similar earlier thread. Is it a website capacity issue? In which case why lock everything on matchdays?

Most of the threads are just saying how shit the team and the board are. Which is true tbf but do we really like 8 threads on it.
