September minutes should have been approved at the October meeting and published shortly thereafter.

October's should have been approved at the November meeting and published by now.......

We learned that Alan had stood down on 24th October, therefore he would have taken the September meeting and no doubt, being the professional man that he is, passed them on to the board for approval.

So nobody took minutes, or presented same for approval at the next meeting?

Not taking minutes is a serious breach of duty... but nevertheless maybe a breach that absolutely suits our current leadership ?

I have also been looking out for WST minutes as I try to follow what is happening. Unfortunately the WST site itself seems to have had changes made to it and (In my opinion) become less easy to navigate. Perhaps it requires a revamp.

Following a query at the last WST meeting, members present were assured that detail of the most recent meeting would be placed on the site much quicker - they would be a summary rather than the approved minutes which would follow later.
Mr Fox, the then independent secretary. said with humour, that he wondered if anyone actually read his efforts. Well they do.

With the departure of Mr Fox I am sure that the WST would have drafted in one of their members to type up the minutes until a suitable replacement was found.

If he didn't take the minutes, maybe he was sacked for incompetence.

I was just following up that at that point he had not resigned, and Wreck Sam's assertion of the seriousness of the situation.

Not had many dealings with Alan but always found him approachable and highly professional. The comment you refer to is a probable consequence of WST not publishing board minutes. It's time they rectified the situation or , at least, made a statement explaining why they are not providing Members with information. The present silence suggests total disregard, if not contempt, for "owners" of our Club.
