The physical might of SM hit the Racecourse for what will be another crucial match in our fight to escape the mire. They are usually big, strong and route one, but can play football, too. Their home form is excellent; less so their away form -- albeit it is far healthier than ours!
DK will probably stick with his 5-3-2 formation but surely there is scope to tweak one or two positions. Will JJ Hooper do a Lazarus and make a stunning comeback, alongside the swift of foot, Patrick? Or will his 'hurty thigh' necessitate a trip to A&E? Surely he and DK need to decide PDQ whether he has a future in North Wales. Hope he does; but if his heart isn't in it, ship him out!
There will also be the threat of a crowd demo against the Board. It deserves to happen, but hope the timing is appropriate and doesn't detract from our heroes fight-back. Will our opponents be mentally up for it after their crushing late defeat to Rotherham in the FA Cup? Many a lesser team would have issues after conceding 4 late goals, having looked a cert with 15 minutes to go.
For me, the main thing is to not lose, and use this as a springboard into a run of games that look winnable. A win tomorrow would be great -- no, it wouldn't paper over the cracks in the Boardroom -- but it would give us a much needed boost in the run up to Christmas. I think it will be tight, with whoever makes the fewer mistakes taking the prize.
