The simple solution to that would have been for the board to not make one brain dead decision after another, and gradually alienate different sub sections of the fanbase in the name of self preservation.

No we have I'm afraid a few supporters who cannot protest civilly and go over the top threatening Board members and their families with abusive language etc. Hence the reason for extra security, I hope they're proud of themselves
