I don’t understand how the ticket situation stopped the protest

Some fans had season tickets for a different area of the ground than the one the protest was planned for. They had been planning on switching their tickets to go to the area with the protest in. As awaydays said, switching tickets like this has been commonly accepted for several seasons. The change with no notice left them realising they'd have to pay an extra admission fee, on top of the season ticket they'd already bought, to do so. Like the thousands of people who were coming at the start of the season but are no longer doing so, they didn't want to pay this admission fee.

absolute nonsense , not been able to transfer stands since the new scanners came in, sorry to ruin your little conspiracy theory

seems like a few bitters seen their bums because their little cyber group of protestors didn't turn up as usual, all keyboard bashers probably sitting at home during games in their parents spare room inbetween looking at you porn

another damp squib from the red passion cyber army of geeks with no friends

So why didn’t you protest from your usual place? If anyone feels that strongly, surely they would protest from wherever they are in the ground

Cheers for that PG, great to have such a detailed explanation from you!

While we're on the subject of explanations, can you explain why, when lots of us on here were warning of the dangers of getting involved with Dickens and Moss, WST spokesman Simon Johnson said of the pair “they both have good links with the club and are doing this for the right reasons. Everybody else has been interested in the land, these people are interested in the club itself"? For me, a huge amount of our recent problems follow from this, and I thought that as a staunch critic of the Moss regime and a passionate supporter of the WST you might be able to give us an idea of why this happened?

Is that directed at me? I don't attend games often as an exile, was just trying to clarify the situation for you. It appears I may have been mistaken - thanks to PG for such a comprehensive explanation. Can't wait for his equally comprehensive explanation of why the WST initially supported Moss and Dickens!
