Cor. overall First team costs since then against the original budget set...

Year end 30/06/2020 ie now, budget £1,256,900 and already stated more will be released.

That is 34% up from last year, let alone the more to be released. Great to see the investment, but what a waste of cash.

Looking forward to the answer of how that happened and what steps were taken to examine how, and what has changed to make sure it doesnt happen again.

Budget for this season is £1,256,900.

Actual money spent in year ending 30/06/2012 was £850,336 (£ 1,018,443.18 in today's money.)

Edit: NOT correct, I missed a column due to phone browser so actual money spent was significantly higher.

Squad for that season, for comparison (from https://www.worldfootball.net/teams/...-afc/2012/2/):

Mayebi, Maxwell, Gray.
Alfei, Ashton, Creighton, S Wright, Westwood, Clowes, Walker, Stephens, Hunt
Harris, Keates, Blackburn, Tolley, Little, NKP, Clarke, Cheesy, Leslie
D Wright, Speight, Morrell, Pogba, Ogleby, Colbeck, Obi

Surely Moss didn’t get better value for money than our wonderful fans ownership gang ?

250k more in real terms on a budget that was apparently not sustainable? I'm confused.
I think we need to have a rethink about how well Saunders did, on what now appears to be pence!

Moss had people outside the playing staff running things, plus the CoE was better funded too.

Just adds wait to getting someone on a full time contract in, even if it's one of the current board. Plus I bet Moss actually questioned the decisions of Suanders.

We do bring in a lot more money now then we did then. Moss was giving away/forgetting to charge for hospitality, sponsorship, tickets etc. Commercial is light years ahead of what it was.

These numbers are scary to be honest. I thought our budget was around the £750k/800k mark.
